Q. So, tell me EXACTLY what this is again?

A: The Wedge Workshop is a sales training workshop for Insurance Producers who want to double their book of business. You will learn how to drive a Wedge between your competition and prospect -- so you can finally stop selling and start winning.

Q. Where is the workshop? And what if I can't attend those dates?

A: The workshop can be held at different locations depending on the time of year, so we release dates and location for each workshop a couple of months in advance on our website and through email. If you can't attend those dates, we'd highly recommend you get on the waitlist.

Q. Is the workshop held live in-person again?

A: Yes! We hold the Wedge Workshop both live and virtually a couple times a year. Each workshop is either live or virtual, we do not record live workshops and there is no way to attend them virtually.

Q. What will I learn? What is the agenda for the two days?

A: When you attend The Wedge Workshop you'll walk away with a proven sales process that's worked for thousands of Insurance Producers just like you.

Here's exactly what we'll cover over the course of two days:

Workshop Strategies You'll Takeaway:

  • Know where you are strong and your competition is weak – which leads to how the prospect is being underserved.
  • Learn a process to exploit the competition’s weakness to get the prospect to see how they are being underserved by the incumbent, leading to their “pain”.
  • Use that “pain” to break the relationship between your prospect and the incumbent.
  • Test the prospect’s ability to fire the incumbent and hire you, before investing time developing a proposal.

Day 1:

  • The Wedge: Objective
  • How Is Your Company Better?
  • 3 Major Components of Business
  • What Motivates People
  • Ladder of Abstraction
  • Strengths vs. Weaknesses

Day 2:

  • Locating Your Prospect's Hidden Pain
  • Know Your Competition
  • Developing Your Pre-Call
  • Strategy
  • Knowledge is Power - Four Levels of Knowing
  • Games and Zones
  • Rules of The Wedge®
  • The Wedge Sales Process®
  • Role-Play-- The Wedge®
  • The Rehearsal Steps
  • Conclusion

All of these will give you the framework for The Wedge Sales Process -- the sales process for insurance producers to win by B.O.R. (without talking smack about the current agent.)

Q. Can my whole team of Producers attend?

A: If you have 3-10+ Producers who could benefit from live sales training and coaching, our Bignition Program may be a better value for your agency.

Every Bignition Producer + Leader receives a ticket to the virtual Wedge Workshop (plus access to more workshops, a pipeline CRM tool and on-demand training content.)

Schedule a Bignition Consultation here.

Q. Why are you doing this?

A: Great question. If you want to develop yourself and your career, the market for Producers to do this is challenging. It's flooded with bloated training platforms and overpriced, personality-driven hype. There are great books out there, but very few give you a game plan to apply them.

So what do you actually need to DO to develop your game plan and grow your book of business?

The Wedge Workshop is all about mastering the process. If you can understand the basics of your buyer's psychology and leverage it to get your messaging and sales approach right -- you'll be unstoppable at selling anything.

Q. I'm interested, but what's the cost?

A: The price is only $2,495 USD per person for this session. Bignition clients receive a discount. Email reagan@thewedge.net for the promo code and details.

Most Producers make this investment back (and more!) within 90-120 days after attending The Wedge Workshop.

*Plus -- If all this did for you was give you the playbook to win just one BOR, would it be worth your investment?

Q. What if I have a question you haven't covered? Or a question ABOUT these questions?

A: Let's chat! Email our team at info@thewedge.net

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

"I had 300 accounts worth about $300k in revenue. I followed Randy’s advice, gave up over 250 accounts, then focused on growth.

4 years later I have $1,300,000. I have more than quadrupled my personal income and I'm still growing.

Thank you for everything!"

-Austen Lillies

“I attended my first Wedge Workshop 5 years ago with no idea what I was stepping into. Back then my book was $600k. Since then I have more than tripled the size of my book. I have also greatly increased the size of the accounts I work on. I used to have a career goal of a $1M revenue book of business now I see $3M as a very attainable goal.”

- Danny Stevens

"3 years into my insurance career I had 160 clients and a $300k book. Although I was successful I hit a wall and didn’t have the capacity to grow my book. At this time I went to one of Randy’s trainings and then joined his program. 4 years later I grew my $300k book to $1.2 million and have less than half the accounts I started with."

- Garret Yates

Cal Garretson -- Acquired 16 accounts and racked in $139k in new business revenue as a new producer.

"A year ago I was a stressed-out small business owner struggling to make ends meet. I knew that a change in profession was necessary for my family."

- Curtis Stevens

Curtis Stevens -- $24K BOR in just 76 Days

Meet Curtis, a former high school basketball coach. As the school cut the budgets, he went from just being a coach... to a bus driver, laundry man, travel administrator and more. He got sick of it and decided to change professions.

Curtis got recruited into an agency using The Wedge sales process. Before he even got licensed, he was already studying his selling process and learning his differences.

Here's his timeline:

Hired June 15th... Licensed July 1. And, on September 2nd... 76 days after he was hired... Curtis won a $24,000 revenue account by BOR.

If these two new-to-industry Producers can do it, so can you.
